  This is a great church! Everyone is welcoming and very friendly. Pastor Christian is great and speaks with conviction. The worship music is awesome!! I would definitely recommend this church.

  The message delivered is well planned and thought out and easy to understand. Pastor Christian does a fantastic job explaining the bible in relatable terms. The church is modern with live music along (no scary organ music) with a large video screen that you can see from every seat. This allows you to read and see whats going on and stay engaged. The service includes multi media presentations accompanied by live music. The stage is lit up with colored lights like a concert and an energetic pastor speaking and explaining it all. I highly recommend this church!

  One of my favorite places to be each week! I love how dedicated they are to loving and connecting people to each other & Jesus...We are not a group of perfect people, but we are all growing together to become more like Him. Come check it out :)

  We have known Christian and Danielle Newsome for about 10 years. We live in Overland Park so do not make it to Journey church very often. However, we did attend the grand opening service at 11:30 this morning. The service was all we expected; welcoming (beginning with the parking attendants), great music and an outstanding sermon. I would highly recommend this church to anyone looking for a church home. You will hear Jesus Christ preached here by a young pastor who sincerely lives what he preaches.
